The Meet & Greet
We begin every project on site with a “Meet & Greet.” This gives us the opportunity to get acquainted, listen to your ideas for the project, and then help you decide the best course of action going forward. We also share with you how we work and what you can expect from us.
The Design Process
We try to keep the design process as simple as possible for the client. If you have magazine cutouts, photos of something you like, or even rough sketches, we will work with those if they sufficiently address what you have in mind. However, if your project is larger in scope and more complex, we may suggest that you work with an architect or designer to help flesh out your vision.
The Scope of Work
Once your design is finalized, we provide a detailed Scope of Work. To arrive at this, we first schedule a job walk, which gives you the opportunity to meet with our approved trade contractors. You’ll have questions and they’ll have questions. After all questions have been answered and gray areas have been identified, we receive each contractor’s costs associated with your project. Then we create a very detailed Scope of Work that fully explains the Construction Budget.
Reaching an Agreement and Starting Construction
Once you have the Scope of Work, an approved budget, and a signed agreement, we will then provide you with a detailed Construction Schedule. The schedule gives you projected timelines for each phase of your project. Construction then begins and your dream project is on the way to becoming a reality. The Projects team is actively involved with contractors throughout the project, working together to meet the building schedule, ensure quality and cost control, coordinate all work done, answer your questions, and address any new ideas you may have.
